Since we are entering the holiday season, many companies are sending out greeting cards to their customers. This is a great thing to do so your customers think about you. However, everyone else is doing the exact same thing so it might not be as effective as you think. Your card gets lost in a sea of every other card the person receives, whether it is personal or business-related. So how do you stand out and stay in your customers’ minds at other times of the year?

Well, the obvious answer is to send cards during a different holiday. Honestly, the less major of a holiday the better since most don’t send cards for things like St Patrick’s Day or Halloween. Even better, send a card for a “holiday”. This will definitely get your customers’ attention and make them think of you at a time no one else is contacting them.
Send Cards for “Holidays”!
Now, I know you are asking what I mean by “holiday”. This would be a National Day, such as the ones I list every month. You can literally choose cards for all occassions from this National Day Calendar and get cards for it. Cards can be purchased from all sorts of places for these oddball days to celebrate such as local vendors or even online greeting card places. Don’t believe me, there is a National Say Something Nice Day and I found cards on several online sites.
Sending out cards at various times of the year can be a great way to keep customers informed of sales, changes, specials, or any news you want to share. Depending on your business, you can also offer a deal that is valid during a certain time with the card sent.
